How does the framing process work?
It begins with a consultation — in person at one of our three London studios, or via collection from your home or office. Our framers assess your piece and guide you through materials, mouldings, glazing, and mounting options. Once you've approved the design, we craft the frame by hand in our workshop. You can then collect or we'll deliver it to you — or arrange professional installation on-site.
How long does framing typically take?
Most commissions are completed within 7–14 working days. More complex pieces — gilded frames, conservation work, or large-format installations — may require additional time, which we'll agree with you at consultation. Rush turnarounds can often be accommodated; please mention your deadline when booking.
Can you collect my artwork directly from me?
Yes. Our logistics fleet covers all London boroughs and the South of England. Every driver is trained in artwork handling, and vehicles are fitted with purpose-built racking, padding, and secure storage. We'll collect from your home, office, gallery, or storage facility — and return the finished piece the same way.
What types of artwork do you frame?
We frame anything that deserves to be seen at its best: fine art prints, oil and acrylic paintings, photographs, signed memorabilia, limited-edition lithographs, textiles, maps, and more. We also specialise in unusual or oversized pieces. If you're unsure whether we can help, just ask — we almost certainly can.
What glazing options are available, and do I need UV protection?
We offer standard float glass, shatterproof acrylic, low-glare, and museum-grade UV-filtering glazing. UV protection is strongly recommended for any artwork displayed near natural light — it prevents fading and colour shift over time. Our team will advise the most appropriate option based on your piece and where it will hang.
Do you work with galleries, businesses, and interior designers?
Yes — a significant part of our work is with galleries, museums, commercial spaces, and design professionals. We offer volume framing, collection management, exhibition installation, and specialist packing for international shipping. For trade enquiries, please contact us directly to discuss your project.
